Too many men and not enough women. Not enough to pick up on the population growth after one generation of people being wiped out. They're seeing this as a problem for the future due to forced sterilization, abortions, and child slavery. Though politicians are trying to control population in other parts of the world, especially in the EU and USA through means of scaring people by forcing a sham pandemic, climate change, and other political bs, China is still seeing that it will take more to curb the population growth in the Western world.
China went with a three child policy because they created a society where opportunity is so limited that people (who had already gotten use to a one child policy) just decided to stop having kids.
I would say one of the reasons is, is because most kids now want white collar jobs such as working in jobs that require degrees no one wants a blue collar job, therefore increasing the amount of children gives them A. More blue collar job workers B. More possible white collar workers and C. More soldiers/ government workers to continue their tyrany. I believe there's numerous reasons but the last one I can think of is what @factdigger said.
Population explosion is as much bullshit as global warming.
They laugh at this sht. When they meet they're trading stock tips and figuring out more ways to mock the general population.
They don't believe in it.
And this IS the war.
It's all the elite versus all the rest.
China ends up with a nicer spot on the chessboard in the elite's plans.
Those ghost cities? Just money for construction buddies.
The problem is most people buy it. At least the half with sub 100 IQ...that's a huge base for them to start with.
