This argument was exactly my rationale for justifying not wearing the mask in stores until someone told me to wear it. I would carry the mask in case I got "karened" by someone, esp a store employee

In places where I knew there was a high likelihood of a problem I'd wear the mask around my neck

Early last year when this crap started, I started out wearing the mask only around others and then taking it down off my face in asiles and then taking it on and off. I also did this to signal to others that it actually wasn't important and that the air was fine

and that the ONLY reason i would wear it was FOR THEM, and I wanted them to know for some reason that "I believed" that masks didn't do anythign and that it was psychological and I was doing it to make THEM feel safe,even though I felt they didn't work and were dumb

(and it turns out I was 100% corret and so was eveyone else here--masks don't work against the virus)

So I stopped wearing the mask maybe july august of last year; around the time they were calling people psycopaths for not wearing them. I wanted people to have to think they were surrounded by psycohpaths. I watned them to feel fear at that point, because only people who don't do research--the INcurious, would be scared of this...

I wanted to be a trend setter, and hold the line of no-maskers
