If you check my posts, I called this specifically, and said it would either be :
#1. We don't know what the "ufos" are or,
#2. "New" aeronautical advancement
There is no, never has been, never will be aliens from another part of the galaxy coming here, period. Rule out science fiction like warp drives and worm holes and it's pretty simple.
Side note btw: A wormhole could just be the 'space' between 2 gravitational fields. If you're flying to Andromeda Galaxy from here, when you go past the EDGE of the Milky Way Galaxy's gravity reach... do you just 'appear' at the next closest gravity field? We don't know, but that's what a wormhole, technically, would be.
The Tic Tac objects : It's electromagnetic propulsion. I don't know 100% how it works specific, but I watched a few guys in university do it in 1997 with a coil and basically 2 dixie cups taped together.
From my understanding, the coil has rotating, opposite charges spinning around the coil, separated by a non conductive 'gate'. You click a button on the PC and tells the 'gate' to open for a brief nano second. When the two opposite charges touch each other, the 'repulsion force' is what gives the propulsion.
Now ,how they directed that energy downward to propel their little canister UP is beyond my realm of knowledge. Was pretty neat though to watch.
I totally agree actually. I've said since junior high ; we're only as smart as we've made ourselves. And, I won't ever argue there is definitely life, intelligent life else where in our own galaxy.
I just don't believe travelling through space can be done without blowing yourself up?
You got to go at least 6 or 7/10ths light speed to really get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time.
You need an engine that can do that.. continuously as there will be no gas stations in space.
You need a material you can build a vessel from that can handle going that fast, continuously without needing hull repair.
And, that's where my biggest problem is. While you're travelling around space at 7/10ths of light speed ; what happens when you hit a .5cm space rock? How would you even navigate something like that in advance of you getting to it, travelling at those speeds?
You would have to have already, somehow, completely mapped out the entire galaxy, including ALL moving targets, in every solar system and interstellar space and their exact trajectories. That's millions of years beyond what we could do in a million years lol.
I think ONE day, we actually may discover / be discovered and have it confirmed both ways = we communicate back to them. But, honestly, I really believe that's the farthest it can ever go.
And that IS only based 100% on our 'knowledge' so.. I only let my imagination go so far ha ha. I don't think about 'force fields' because a force field on a moving close to light speed object? Would have to be an energy source we haven't discovered yet.
That'd be useful. Blast through the sky at supersonic speeds, engage enemy ships, dip under the water to avoid missiles, jump out to get away from torpedoes, also sounds really fun to fly.
The U.S. Navy has a code word for Underwater Submerged Objects (U.S.O.).
The U.S. Navy officers know to avoid those because of disappearance or crew compromise. Psychic attack and mind control by aliens.
The U.S. Navy has a protocol to kill any submariner that starts going crazy after USO contact because they might get downloaded and controlled to set off nukes.

and as always, sorry for the book lol.

I'd imagine it would be automated to ensure maximum use of the diving and climbing capabilities. I don't think a human pilot could take the G Forces.
There is also this patent US10144532B2 from the navy
