I agree with this.

The consequences are most likely deliberate even.

Do not tell me Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot are acting out of ignorance. They are not and neither is the UN.

Oh and implying there are any historians bar aliens post 2050? Human historians will be infused with machines and evolved into feral cannibals by that point.
