Somehow that's very dubious. City of London Corp is a sovereign state, similar to the Vatican. It can be invaded. But it hasn't happened in history. Otherwise it has its own security force including police. Sovereign State think about that. Who did they use to imprison the Lord Mayor of London with his own private army of Special Forces and police. Half of the London Mile is Bunkered.
They were campaigning it be exempt from the new corporate international tax laws Biden admin was proposing at the G7. Last news I heard about it.

It is a shadow nation within England. A Sovereign State not bound by English national law to extents. Obviously if crime was committed by an employee then perhaps they'd be tried. As a corp it could be dissolved if it suited the crown. It won't. England's economy would go crash if that happened.
It has created the tax havens in many former British colonies of almost every elite and dignitary on this planet. Possibly 30-40 percent of this planet's finances are running through the banking and tax havens associated with its Corp. It is linked to most banking establishments like the Fed, the Rothschilds, Bank of England etc etc.
Laughably somebody is having a laugh. It would take much more than a bunker buster and a few spec ops.

ISTR the City, like the Holy See, is incorporated in Switzerland. A long, long time ago in Switzerland. This is just a distraction.
