What's funny about this, but when China hacked us during the Obama admin and got the security clearance information of every single member of the military (basically their whole life story) and most members of the federal government, the media was like "meh". Some conservative outlets called it "cyber Pearl Harbor" but were tsk-tsked for such startling language.
It's like they are gearing up for war, or at the very least doing what governments with shitty domestic policies always do, which is find a distracting enemy abroad.
