And I keep wondering where our alien overlords live, they could be on a different planet, maybe the moon.
The moon would make sense because I can't see any reason why the moon would always be facing the Earth perfectly.
Could that kind of rotation just happen naturally? Has anyone come up with a better explanation? Or is there something about moons that makes them, over time, synchronize their rotation about an axis with their revolution about some planet

I believe they they explained by saying the earth formed while spinning so its shaped like a funnel with openings on the north and south poles .
