Mud flood has either been a complete matrix reset. Or there is a much simpler explanation.
Those stupid industrialists in the height of their industrial revolution switched the dreaded matrix on. Now there is only collective amnesia. Where everything of beauty and human innovation has been replaced by machine. Not much is made by hand today and the materials used are beyond all reproach and hideously lacking. Until our cities are ugly eyesores of concrete glass and steel resembling dreaded computer circuit boards. Life is sucked out of them and crammed into them until the very air is poison and it suffocates. Instead of the former handcrafted stone, where each stone laid was by hand and often sculpted, colourful tiling, marble columns, numerous canals, and plentiful fountains, and far more trees than could ever be counted. These have been replaced by skyscraper condo and tenement obscenely stacking higher and higher until the very sky is also polluted and beauty is increasingly artificial. The machine has been switched on and it consumes humanity.
Of course collectively war and revolution occurred until in this age of plastic and prefab, contemporary and modern. It has lost all other innovation because the machines used cannot replicate the artisan. Artisans are replaced by mass consumption. Today the only thought is to turn blind profits instead of anything lasting and of culture or value. So our buildings thrown up by crane and concrete fleetingly become replaced even quicker constantly stacking on top of their former foundations until like everything machine they are replaced quickest by adding even greater numbers and even uglier designs these employ even more concrete and plastic.
No sooner does every city lose it once distinctive cultures. Because it simply adds even more skyscrapers and condos. The cars the people the buildings are sooner all increasingly the same, and mud. Constant mud from mixing everything in and vomiting it back out. The machine has outlawed culture and identity. Instead it emotionlessly polices our very thoughts stealing our innovation.
