Think I have worked this out. Your thoughts?

Actually this is a really interesting subject. There was a doctor that did all kinds of time experiments on his sick wife. He concluded that time does change depending on coffee, drugs, fever, sickness, ect. Another researcher did experiments on pro basketball players and concluded they could sense the shot clock down to a fraction of a second.

They say, your life flashes before your eyes just before you die. This is what is happening to you at this exact moment.

Life feels long when you're living it, but then you realize how short it is as you near the end of it.

I remember seeing an interview with George Harrison as he was dying of cancer. He said "the last 30 years went by like that" and snapped his fingers. There's never enough time so cherish it all as much as possible. Or as another musician (Warren Zevon) said as he was also dying - "Enjoy every sandwich."

Sure feels that way.

But our perspective on time changes as we get older.

We get used to it.

When you’re 10, 5 years is half a lifetime.

When you’re 50, it’s a fraction.

But it sure does feel like we’re a turd going around a toilet bowl, with each circle becoming tighter and tighter.
