Viruses are everywhere, they are inside of you, millions of them, harmless ones. Invalid proteins are what don't belong. Viruses can be used to bring those proteins in. Your body's immune system wants to get those proteins out.
They could have engineered the common cold (coronavirus) to produce this protein through Gain of Function research.
But as far as the vaccine, they are mRNA so yeah, they don't have the virus, that's the older type of vaccine method with dead/live virus in it, with the mRNA vaccine they just alter your own DNA to produce the protein.

Yes they allowed it to escape a lab, that was the whole idea. But what about the vaccine? No, they did not capture and isolate COVID to learn how to make the spike protein, they already had it!!! They put it into the common cold, and THEN they put it into the mRNA vaccines! I'm predicting the engineered COVID respiratory illness didn't exactly achieve the numbers (contageousness/death/fear/pacification) they wanted, so the mRNA vaccine is the next step. Rather than try to let nature spread the protein, now they wanna force inject something in you which will make that protein. The whole lockdown thing was to isolate people from public and herd immunity to increase the number of severe cases. Very sick deceptive stuff going on methinks.
