Which Big Corporations are mostly responsible, and those would gladly pay a carbon tax than being held accountable for environmental destruction. There is also a huge profit motive for the scientists and promoters like Al Gore.
For co2 the most noticeable effect from burning fossil fuels is Not anything related to temperature, it's that the world is getting more plant life.

So, in the Northern Californa Bay Area, freeway traffic went to zero for many months. But we have another year of drought and a fire season coming again this year. You would think it might have had a little effect on local climate, but no.

There was a little bit too much mental gymnastics in that still trying to blame humans so it vanished and wasn't picked up by the MSM.
