It is true Uighurs are being eliminated from the history books by China. Meanwhile the Soviets had restructured former satellites belonging to the assumed former territory of the supposed tartars. The Ottomans were defeated in WW1 losing territory and turned into many different countries. Europe vastly changed as well as so many others globally. WW1 caused most of this. Although in the 1800s was when many alternative Empires were defeated by the Europeans, and prior of course. The evil corps and their banking and globalism changed this planet massively away from territories so vast they spanned greater percentages of the globe rather than the much smaller countries of today. Of course some of these new nations gained while many others lost. The point being it wasn't always like this until after WW1. WW2 cemented it. Away from the Empires that once stood. These in the 1700s and 1800s were on a very different globe. China especially wasn't the nation with the territory it has now, it was very different. Many other countries and nations failed to even exist. Instead they were city states, and opposing tribes, and kingdoms, and vast territories. Later turned into the much smaller countries of today. Some perhaps are better then what they once were. Although not when the causality has lost so much heritage, erasing entire cultures, and instead turned this globe into an overpopulated shithole which lacks in almost all any identity sooner threatened by the corporate bag of wet dicks selling us their fiction and their absurd vanity projects. The globe today is even more threatened, and as opposed, because their are far more assholes as a result of it, and any natural beauty has been eroded by rapidly increased populations stagnated into mindless apathy.

Actually "Tatars/Tartars" were alternative name used by middle-aged Europeans for Mongols and their Khanates.In fact "Tatars" known by Europeans were only one of the tribes vasalized by great mongol horde - those who invaded Europe.But it is small thing.

Middle aged Europeans called them tatars/tartars because of greek mythical underworld/hell called Tartar. Because they were for them like devils winning battle after battle, wiping out armies send against them, taking whole provinces into ruin and taking people from it to sell as slaves. Their superior mobile tactics and ambushes, fact they were using poison gases in middle-aged battlefield... Their skin and eyes (they were asians after all !),their strange "hellish" language...
