Ever hear this quote:

Happy is the tiger that eats the man, for the tiger becomes human. Sad is the man that eats the tiger, for the tiger becomes human.

I know I probably butchered it, but I keep losing the source for it...I think it was from a book from the apocrypha. Very striking though.

If you've ever read Sherlock Holmes, Doyle alluded to the belief by some that eating animals will give you their abilities, to an extent. It's hard to argue with the proverb that you are what you eat though. It's certainly apparent physically.

Look at the Rock and all his eating babies jokes.

Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders have been cannibals for ages. You could say it's been passed down in their genetics.

So if you are human, does eating other humans make you a super-human? I'm sure there's people that believe it.

Of course, the point of Jesus was to stop cannibalism and ritual sacrifice. Didn't completely nip it in the bud, but people still have free will. At least the masses have mostly been spared from it.

Oh, and that quote may have been about lions...and I found it.

"Jesus said, 'Blessed is the lion which the man eats, and the lion will become man; and cursed is the man whom the lion eats, and the lion will become man.'"

It was from the Gospel of Thomas, and I was looking at the Secret Gospel of John.

And looky there, I got the quote screwed up. :)

I don't know if I fully fathom it myself.

Organ transplant receivers spontaneously develope new traits and talents associated with their organ donor. Never painting before in their life, recieve a new liver and be compelled to paint beautiful pictures, then to find out the liver came from a dead painter. I think these ideas may be related.

Definitely a few short story plots revolve around that idea.

It has to have some effect though.

It would rewrite science but than personally I think Bruce Lipton and Thomas Campbell get it right. The rest is luciferian bull shit. Conscious bio feed back loop where cells express based on terrain and conscious will. Our bodies are the temples of our souls, not the prisons.

It does seem to me that people I know that are good "glow" more. People do give off light, perhaps in more than one way. :)

It's an intentional dilution of the term GMO. A natural process that alters genetics (husbandry, bacteria, fish etc) is not a genetically modified organism.

A GMO specifically refers to the human-modification of genes via external process.

The difference is that nature has ways to reduce issues of cross species mixing, but not of humans, say, deciding that food should glow. On top of this, many of the changes introduce things that have never existed in the human food supply. -- How does a human process that glow protein, to continue the example?

This is so that people start mixing "natural" and man-made modifications to organisms in their minds and start accepting them as two sides of the same coin.
