Something happened to ddg a little after Trump won. It doesn't matter anymore it curate's now . Compromised. Maybe doesn't track but it definitely curates the info
I brought this up a bit back. I notice the same colors in DDG logo as in google. So I asked if DDG is a product of google. A user responded with a simple yes. I believe them. Stopped using chrome, bing, DDG. I use Brave now.

I don't think DDG is about not using Google. Its about not sending back usage statistics.

Turn safe search off for starters. But i have noticed it is becoming harder to search. Mostly that comes from Google I believe and not DDG.
