Cannabis is very addictive. They sooner put shit in it. Sometimes causing addiction. Some even lace it with other drugs like coke to cause addiction. Others add chems to the crop to get much higher yields of php. The nicotine it is mixed with on smoking is more addictive than heroin. Many want the weak high to last, increasing its use until they pass out, making it a gateway drug. This is due to the way it is sourced. Also the shit they put in it. But you can become resistance to it.
The fact, it slows reactions massively can make it dangerous to use when operating machinery, similar to alcohol, many can white-out on cannabis use. Although lots of pharma medicines are worse in their affects. However there is increasing side affects of paranoia associated with its constant use, where dopamine can cause schizophrenia.
Of course this isn't always the case, not everybody takes huge amounts. Any effects vary.
But instead of a bunch of echoes proclaiming this article is wrong there should be both sides.
I don't think anything except poison should be illegal. Take what you want and live with it. But in today's bullshit society of rules, it is a no brainer that they will restrict the use of something you could easily grow yourself because they often want to sell you something even more costly.
