Depleting your energy makes you irritable, unhappy, impotent. There is a big market for that stuff. Anti-depressants to deplete your depression, porn to deplete your sperm and boner, penis pills to deplete your flaccidness, recreational drugs to deplete your boredom, fake news to deplete your critical thinking, TV to deplete your physical activity/virility/community, many others.
