it takes months of gutting a building to get to it's structure to begin placing the charges and running the thousands of miles of blasting wire and/or det cord to initiate the blast.
all of that would have been very noticeable to the thousands of people who worked there everyday.
by the time you get done wiring a big building like this, the bundle of wires coming down the stairs is so big you can't wrap your arms around it.
and nobody saw anything?
not to mention that slamming planes into a building that has been prepped for demo would only cause the wires to be cut and the demo to fail...
