I think it is a russian roulette situation.

1 out of 4 of these were modified to cause such cases, you do not know what it is. The other 3 out of 4 are either duds or sterilizers with no effect or no immediate effect. And you take the Russian Roulette or die, or even if you take the roulette the anti pandemic measures will not go away until 2070, with WWIII being an intermezzo.
