It is exactly the same as sovereign immunity. There is nothing in the us constitution or any law that gives the government sovereign immunity. But they claim that our legal system is based on the british legal system so they get to have sovereign immunity. WHICH IS BULLSHIT. They are not above the people, they are for, by, and from the people. They are not chosen by god and they do not have sovereign immunity.
