Yea bullshit. Why are the aliens crashing. They have travelled across space all those asteroids and radiation. But landing on Earth is a crash sight. Tedious. Shooting down aliens. Why aren't they shooting you.

Here is thing, invest into space. It has aliens. Got to find some aliens and sell them some Tupperware and give them a bible. They need pathetic earthlings to stop them crashing.
