The concept or plot of a non-fiction book can be summarized, also, for a non-fiction book the "main findings" can be summarized.

But in both cases, you're missing something very, very important. For a fiction book you're missing the pleasure of reading, and for a non-fiction book the evidence presented to back up the main findings (which is important if the main finding isn't "duh" obvious).
