Things are dire for democracy in Russia. Being the reason a protest happens is enough to have your family members jailed now.

This is a straight dictator move more in line with what you'd expect from Mao or Stalin and not the leader of a modern democracy.

Edit: "Democracy"

Since 1993. Yeltsin and democrats do exaclty the same to their conservative opponents that Biden and democrats do to conservatives. The only difference is that Biden and democrats did not use tanks to shoot resisting Parliament and opposition. US Democrats used MSM/Twitter/Facebook/etc to silence them. Or may be this just not happened yet. This was beginning of modern "democracy" trial. They checked its stability on Russia, ensured, that it eventually gives "democracy" they want and nobody could dethrone it, and now establishing it everywhere. Russia was experimental setup, as usual. Slowly, they implemented total censorship in many European countries and US, just like in Russia, using that "hate-speech" and "extremist" nonsence as a reason. "For your safety", of course. They implementing thought police, peaceful assembly prohibition, permanent surveillance and all that stuff. Wait a little, the "democracy" is already here. They know, from Russia experiment, that all your fight attempts against NWO will be limited to useless and toothless peacefull rallies, just like in Russia.

Did you know, that arrests of Navalny supporters started right after Biden have a phone conversation with Putin? Please check, may be similar arrests of opposition happens in US too. I even don't know now, who is afraid election fraud investigation, absence of censorship and surveillance, free speech and powerful opposition more, Putin or Biden.
