Thanks to the few there standing up for me! I'm disappointed in the /r/conspiracy mods for letting the threats against me and my family stand though. I'm not surprised the admins are leaving them.

The hate there for you right now is appalling. I never posted there (or here), just lurked. Your posts are always worthwhile - especially the clearly well researched ones. I can't honestly believe that the animosity there for you is organic though.. I'm sure you're fairly used to this and have developed a thick skin, but even so, I can't imagine how this affects a person. No matter how thick your skin, it's a lot of negativity for anyone to handle - sending good vibes your way man Thanks again for everything you've done and continue to do. I don't know what's up with Reddit. I've noticed escalating hate over the last few years. Just downright nasty comments, even 4chan would be proud of. Downvotes are weaponized to hide opinions and only superficial good vibe posts gain traction.
You are emotionally dissuaded from posting dissenting opinions. Especially people like me who don't farm karma. Going below 10 excludes you from many communities.
You're in an overwhelming situation right now. I don't pretend to understand the anxiety this kind of attention brings. Just know that these people and social media websites do not represent reality. They are the worst of us attacking the best of us in the name of money, power, and total control.

IW was afk for years...they hadn't done any moderating on our sub for 5 years maybe, and finally the entire /r/conspiracy mod team reached out to the admins because we were concerned a "ghost" account was at the top of our sub.
The con mod team unanimously voted for me to take IW's place at top mod.
When the admins tried to remove IW, they accidentally removed the ENTIRE team, including me, and leaving me as the only mod briefly. It was really weird...the optics made me look bad, and the admins admitted they had made a "mistake" (bullshit).
I don't think they ever wanted me as top mod, and they were just waiting for the right moment to remove me.
The only people I banned broke the sub's rules. If they appealed their ban and pledged to stop breaking the rules, I unbanned them. It's simple.
