Like I know so many millenials who have this backwards image to the point that they believe and say things like "I was born in the wrong decade" "I belong in the 60s/70s".
I know very little about that period in that region. From what I know it happened similarly to how Bolsheviks took over Ukraine, Russia, and the Baltics. But there is a lot less information available, at least in the English language.
