There is a popularly exalted almost mythical ideal of the 60's as a golden age of revolution, progress, and liberation. THOSE "60's" ARE A MYTH. I'm interested in the cultural myth-making that seems like the most successful psyop in scale and popular internalization maybe ever. Like I know so many millenials who have this backwards image to the point that they believe and say things like "I was born in the wrong decade" "I belong in the 60s/70s".
