There’s so much info layered into this “fictional” tale, I don’t know how anyone who’s still asleep could finish it thinking it’s just about a traveler & his imaginary friend.
And then there’s ET 101; only the most cynical of all the cynics would takeaway that it’s just a humorous book.
Dude’s a solo traveler who meets someone very unlike anyone else he’s encountered & discovers it’s the teacher he didn’t know he’d been seeking; from there, it goes into their encounters, what he learns about himself, and how his mind/beliefs effect his experience of “reality.”

Can you give a little synopsis of your take on Illusions? I might want to read it and am curious.
