  • The left has decided that THEY and THEY ALONE are the sole arbiters of truth. In a way, they are. Because leftists control most MSM and all major social media platforms. He who controls the flow of information controls minds.
  • If something happens, the leftist media decides if they're going to cover it or ignore it. If they choose to ignore it, most of the population wouldn't know about it. That's why Biden's scandals were untouched -- even though it should have cost him the election. And it's also why the mountain of evidence of Democrat voter fraud has been suppressed. People don't know because the media won't talk about it. If the media doesn't report it, it's as if it never happened.
  • Inversely, if the media arbitrarily decides something is true when it isn't and "reports" it, most people will believe it. That's why Trump is perceived by most people as a racist and an ignoramus, even though the opposite is true.
  • The only alternative to MSM used to be social media. But even that's out of the equation now because social media follows the guidelines set by MSM.
  • The few people who talk about stuff the media refuses to cover are banned or deleted, or get the "fact check" next to their post. This applies to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and others.
  • There are communities like this and a few others that don't play by the rules of MSM and social media. But there are several issues: 1) these sites are tiny. They simply don't have the userbase required to get a message out. 2) the MSM smears these tiny sites as being hang-outs for far right extremists, racists etc. 3) any information that originates in these alternative sites is dismissed as "baseless conspiracy".
  • Edit: It's also the reason why MSM smear and discredit the few remaining conservative news outlets like Newsmax and OANN. It's now reached a point where their news article and videos simply don't carry the same weight as those of say, CNN or MSNBC.
  • I fear it's only a matter of time before alternate channels and sites like these are shut down or subverted. This is because the left's position is that anyone who doesn't agree with them 100% should be silenced. We simply cannot continue like this. How can we win the information war, if we aren't even allowed to fight?
