(On 4 August 2020, a large amount of ammonium nitrate stored at the port of the city of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, exploded, causing at least 204 deaths, 6,500 injuries, and US$15 billion in property damage, and leaving an estimated 300,000 people homeless. Wikipedia)
Any thoughts?
I think it was a "Rod Of God" weapon, but I didn't really look into reason why it was used.
Seems like some sort of attack to me. I think Lebanon was shipping weapons, and then it got blown up by another faction. Attack could have been electronic or drone based.
Israel did it, as usual.
It happened on the 33rd parallel, like so many other world events, so that must indicate some fuckery was at foot yet again.
Seemed like a hostile takeover of the Lebanese Government to me, but I barely looked into things so that's just a surface level take.
