Is anyone else noticing this? My edits don't register and disappear after refreshing the page, also I am unable to message the mods because Captcha is broken

Editing just worked for me. Not sure if relevant but I typed something else for "reason for edit" where it said "fixed a typo" or whatever.

You have to give a reason or the edit wont stick. Just go with the suggested "fixed a typo".
Also, I've noticed when you edit something, sometimes the formatting gets messed up and leaves out spaces between paragraphs creating a wall of text. Mostly happens if you copy paste text in the box.
FWIW, editing a second time glitched out like you described but logging out and in again seemed to fix it, as mentioned elsewhere in this thread.
I have noticed this too. As an English teacher it drives me fucking crazy that I can't edit mistyped grammar in my posts. TEST

It's a bit slower and it's in the User side. Logging in and out should solve it. Also the Cancel button is on the left unlike Reddit.
