The day they removed this feature from Reddit is the first day they became a site purely for propaganda purposes. Time for us to build this community back to the glory it once was, and easily be able to discern the shills from the real users.

I got super into Reddit for a while....then it was all political and/or gross stuff I didn't want to see. I subscribed to a small set of subreddits and didn't leave those often. Then 2020 happened. I'm now avoid Reddit, Youtube (all Google products as much as possible now...), and Twitter. I never used Twitter much, but now I use it none. My Facebook was deleted years ago at this point as it was the most obvious cesspool...
I was using Reddit before it went mainstream, first signed up in 2013. I had to delete it. It was a slow erosion. It used to be considered the bastion of free speech; now it's the complete opposite of what they are now.
The only down side to .win is the algorithm used to decide the hot items. The hot sort is way too static and it is more important than ever to visit the new page.
That will no doubt improve over time though. In the meantime, maybe the mods could make it so that the default homepage is Rising?
I'm excited about this site either way. So much potential and so much room for improvement. Plus we're finally off the sinking ship!
Let's hope. Everything else is better than what reddit has become.
Hi Everybody :) Reddit refugee here. I was browsing reddit "unregistered" since 2009 i think. I registered about 2 years ago when i found my local sub r/Polska and others about my interests, just like r/conspiracy. Then i started posting and commenting, on concerning things, mostly, by just sharing my own opinion. Was banned 5 times for that. For being reasonable, and haveing arguments. Started looking for alternatives and here I am. I hope to stay here..(sorry for my english)
You can get banned from thedonald for one single comment. For example, questioning the wisdom of calling bad guys pedos and good guys pedes. Or by suggesting the USA is a conglomeration of different types of government and economic policies.
Thus I got banned yesterday for "promoting communism".

Honestly, i don't go there. Im here for conspiracy in general. I have one other place in internet, meybe somehow similar (i will see) to this, but not so much people are there. The less political opinion HERE, the better place it will be.
