The Nazis had a giant operation that printed counterfeit British currency during WWII to cause inflation and destroy the British economy. They were pretty successful with it because Britain actually stopped printing denominations above 5 pounds for decades to counter this problem.

The US has been using this method of warfare against countries they're fighting (like Iraq and Afghanistan), wonder where else it has been used?

Only tangible assets will matter. I’d buy real estate (cash not on loans if possible), ammo, metals, etc.

Fake money is fake until you trade it for real assets that can be used with or without massive public buy in

The IMF is stating the obvious, and it’s been that way for a while. Markets dip? Crypto dips.

The everything bubble seems more than likely, especially after seeing the housing market behave as it is.

I’ve never heard of those before, gonna look into them.

And exactly, those charts follow each other on the larger timescales to a T

We just wrote a new newsletter and really were shocked by the scale of this software platform BlackRock uses and sells called Aladdin. Basically it gives predictive data and recommendations to manage risk on investments. Nothing crazy until you look into who uses these recommendations and how much money is influenced by it.

$21 trillion is about the equivalent of the US GDP, and this means that whatever recommendations the Aladdin platform makes, can change entire markets. This lines up with how we've seen investment firms treat real estate in the past three years (more than 25% of homes are bought by investment corporations). What happens when Aladdin tells investment firms to pour money into food or energy? Are we going to see (or are already seeing) the effects of that?

Yeah, we try to keep it focused as much as possible on just one topic/person. Pound was a very interesting to no story in his own right though.

We write true conspiracy stories in a substack newsletter once weekly. Just got restarted and did some coverage on Ernest Hemingway.

Turns out he worked for several intelligence agencies throughout his life. Apparently his intel was never very useful, but his "suicide" had really weird details around it. Like the guy who did the psychological autopsy also did one for Lee Harvey Oswald, and his wife apparently was sleeping and heard "some banging" which turned out to be him allegedly killing himself with a double barrel shotgun.

Bots started destroying the Reddit community back in 2013ish in my opinion. The censorship has only been increasing as the site grew and was dominated by left-wing funded VCs and others.

I can’t remember the tool, but basically you can see moderation activity on subreddits and it’s pretty eye opening as to how many posts are removed by mods that don’t violate any rules.

This will get worse when you realize that digital currencies will soon be the default option for all countries. Cash will be illegal and your bank account will be at the whim of your political opponents and corporations (even moreso than now).

Nothing like complete disregard for currently democratically elected officials. This is certainly a general reflection of where our country is headed. "If I don't agree with the person in charge, I am right to singlehandedly override millions of Americans' democratic choice"
