After my very intensive research, I have come to the conclusion that the iron from Daniel 2, the 4th beast from Daniel 7, and the 7th head from Revelation (all 3 refer to the same empire) can only be the original Caliphate that existed from 632 CE to 945 CE. The reason: There are 6 criteria. The 1st criterion is Jerusalem. Which means the empire had to be with Jerusalem (Babylon). The 2nd criterion is chronology. Which means that the empire had to have come after the 6th empire (Roman). The 3rd criterion is short-lived. Which means that the empire only existed for a short time. The 4th criterion is 10 countries. Which means that there must be at least 10 countries today that belonged to the territory of the empire. The 5th criterion is east of the Euphrates. Which means that the 10 countries must lie east of the Euphrates. The 6th criterion is strength. This means the empire must have been very strong.
Let's go through each criterion with the Caliphate. The Caliphate meets the first two criteria because it conquered Jerusalem immediately after the Romans. Most Jews lived in the Caliphate. The Caliphate meets the 3rd criterion because it only existed for a short time (632-945). The Caliphate meets the 4th and 5th criteria because today there are 10 countries that belonged to the Caliphate territory and lie east of the Euphrates. The Caliphate meets the 6th criterion because it became the world power after the Romans. Militarily, economically, and culturally, the Caliphate preceded all others in the world.

Having the mark on your forehead signifies thinking in a way that benefits your own well-being. The mark on your hand signifies acting in a way that benefits your own well-being. Both, however, require you to place your own well-being above God's law. An example would be Daniel and the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar had erected. Nebuchadnezzar's empire, the Chaldean Empire, demanded that people bow down and worship the golden image. Anyone who refused was to be killed. Daniel was thus faced with a choice: either he worshipped the golden image and saved his own life, but in doing so, he would break God's law, or he obeyed God's law and sacrificed his life.
In the New Testament, there is only one nominative noun with the value 666, and that is the word Euporia. Euporia means wealth. Likewise, there is only one nominative noun in the New Testament with the value 888, and that is the name Jesus. This cannot possibly be a coincidence. The reason the beast's name must be a Greek word is that the Book of Revelation was written in Greek. However, there is also a Hebrew word with the value 666 that appears in the Old Testament. The passage states that anyone who does not accept this mark will be unable to buy or sell. Therefore, those who do not accept the mark face an existential threat. They are thus confronted with a dilemma: either they accept the mark and can participate in society, but incur God's wrath, or they do not accept the mark, but are rejected by society and killed. It is clearly a question of self-interest. A crucial point: Revelation states that the mark is the mark of the beast from the sea. The beast from the sea is NOT an individual person, but an empire. The mark therefore describes a system. The mark on the forehead means thinking as the system dictates. The mark on the hand means to act as the system dictates. It does not necessarily have to be a physical mark. However, the beast from the earth is indeed a single person and is the same as the little horn from Daniel 7. This beast will force people to accept the mark of the beast from the sea—in other words, to accept the system. Those who refuse will be killed.
The more correct translation of Revelation 13:18 is "For it is a human number." It isn't the number of a man, it is a human number. And clearly it is about Gematria for verse 17 says: "The number of its name." And verse 18 says to count the number to get that name. The point is that people love prosperity more than God. Those who claim Jesus was born during the Feast of Tabernacles are contradicting the Bible, because if Jesus were born during the Feast of Tabernacles, he wouldn't have been born in Bethlehem but in Jerusalem. Weren't his parents keepers of the law? If they were keepers of the law, then they would have obeyed the commandment that says, "During the Feast of Tabernacles you shall be in Jerusalem."
