I completely agree. Very few people appear to fully grasp the power of media fakery. They seem to be very busing using mainstream news sources to formulate an opinion on the events that may, or may not be unfolding in far away lands. At this point, it is not logical to assume, that every mainstream and independent information source, including every piece of photographic or video 'evidence' could be corrupted or falsified.

If this is a logical assumption, then is it not more sensible to completely ignore everything that does not have a direct impact on ones own life, to live, be happy, and ignore every attempt to get us to 'take a side'?

I was just embroiled in a conversation with someone about this kind of thing. I was suggesting that we have no method of verifying any of the information that is being presented on any subject sensationalised in the msm. In this sense, I was suggesting that neither I nor anyone else without first hand knowledge of any presented situated had a right to an opinion. Because that opinion is based on a knowledge pool that could be corrupted, bias or falsified.

Interestingly, as you are suggesting, the social media banners of the exact people that emblazoned the lbgtq rainbow, images of them getting vaccinated x3, mask wearing, save the nhs and every spoon fed virtue signal in recent years, have, without doing even one minute of fact verification, aligned themselves strongly with 'a side', and are now openly displaying Ukrainian flags and slogans a plenty.

Fools.

r/conspiracy does not seem the same recently. Quality posts are now becoming more and more difficult to find. It is a shame, I think it has been more heavily infiltrated since axo left and more brigading is going on now, especially when questioning covid narratives such as masking etc.

It only needed to be dismissed as not effective during the period when the world governments were establishing a medical health emergency. If the vaccines had been made available and there was already a viable alternative treatment for Cov 19, then it would have been impossible to establish that the vaccines could be rolled out for emergency use. If a treatment exists then there is a strong argument that there is no emergency, right? Now that the emergency use case has been passed in many countries including the UK and US it is unlikely to be withdrawn.

That would look nice. I would vote for that.
