Florida spans more than one region so the thing it has going for it is that the northern part of the state is still part of the south st it has its brother states like Alabama and Georgia (although they have their own issues obviously now) that will still help them out I would think. They can't be isolated the way California is to fully fuck over conservatives in the way that has happened in California I think. Southeastern Florida is a total lost cause but from the middle of the state up to the north I don't see the left being able to fully take it over the way they have California.
The eviction moratoriums will never end as long as the left has power in California so I guess that's one thing you don't need to worry about
Your intuition seems pretty spot on although I think you're a bit off about needing to move east of three Mississippi, places like Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and parts of Texas are all just fine as well. Tennessee is good too but I think some parts are more expensive than some of the states a bit west of there. If you look at a satellite map image of the US you'll see where it transitions from green to brown to give you an idea about where the rainfall levels change. Anywhere east of mid-Oklahoma gets plenty of rain.
Florida has a huge Jew population and also the Cubans, I don't trust the Cubans at all and I think desantis is one? The northern half of the state is a lot better in terms of not having these types though at least when you're not right the in the middle of Tampa or Orlando.
