In Canada the government instituted a lockdown and provided generous assistance to those out of work with no questions asked until next tax season so they didn't have to choose between working or quarantining. Meanwhile America had a lockdown and told everyone to eat shit.
There are plenty of places that have got the virus under control through practical measures that reduce spread, and there are places that are heading back into lockdowns.

I genuinley don't understand whats so unbelievable about Biden receiving so many so late in the election, considering:
-Mail in votes were often counted LAST even though many arrived before election, predominantly in republican areas by republican decree
-Trump spent months saying not to vote by mail so more democrats did then republicans
-It takes longer to count votes in Atlanta then it does in Nowhereville so the results form left leaning cities were delayed to the fact, people live in cities
