Yep. r/politics flipped overnight.
A few days after r/SandersForPresident's top mod u/Vermonty_Python shut down the entire subreddit because there were so many of us refusing to back Clinton.
I kept suggesting that people say "I'm going to vote for Trump unless they rightfully replace Clinton with Bernie." He was cheated. Not only was this the morally correct thing to do, but it was strategically a better move as well.
Me saying this got me banned from S4P
America didn't want Clinton. Bernie was a better matchup at the time in 2016, although I think if Bernie ran against Trump in 2020 I think he would have been decimated. Trump has done too much to win over voters and Bernie supporters over the past 4 years and I don't trust Bernie at all anymore. How can you trust a guy who claims to be against a corrupt political system and instead of fighting that system he endorses it? Then he is silent about Assange; goes along with Dems on Russiagate; supported impeachment and voted to remove Trump; and didn't call out the rigged 2020 primaries either.
July 29, 2016 - The day after the Democratic National Convention
Also first post on this win, although I've been on TD since day 1 or 2. Thanks for bringing this community over from Chinese Tencent pro-censorship Reddit. Happy to have you hear.
Your subreddit, even though it was starting to get overrun by shills, was still one of the last places that allowed any semblance of free speech on the site. r/WayOfTheBern was somewhat ok too even if you're an ex-Democrat ex-Bernie Trump supporter.
Hillary, Pelosi, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Adam Schiff, James Clapper, Comey, Brennan, Bill Gates, Jack Dorsey, and more will all be stripped naked and shame walked around town. Julian Assange will be ringing the bell. Then they go bye bye.
