I have a teenaged son in community college, living at home. Being over 6 ft and well proportioned, he's in that top tier, but being semi-religious, he's not on Tinder and so on.
Last night he tells me he is going out on a date. This is the first date since a high school dance a while back. He says that he met a girl who, after chatting for a time to get to know her, said she was unvaxxed. Not because, she said, it was a conspiracy, but because her parents were against it. I told him that a miss is a miss, no matter the reason, and gave him so cash in case they wanted to grab a bite to eat.
He goes on the date, and under pressure, she admits she got the jab. He was upset at her being a fraud and left her there. He didn't share any more details.
[edit: To everyone who says I'm virtue signaling or looking for fake internet points, fuck off. The point of this story is to give one data point to the supposition many of us had two years ago that vaxxed women would lie, as is their nature, to go after purebloods. Trust me, I could brag a lot more about the kid or my parenting or some such, more than this.]

Are We Now Beyond Parody?
In its infinite wisdom, HBO has created an animated prequel/spin-off series based on Scooby Doo. The new show is called "Velma" and it is centered on that character from the original series, albeit race-swapped and ultra-woke. So ultra-woke, in face, that it has caused some people to wonder what's going on. This show is apparently so awful (I have not seen it, nor do I plan to) that it has caused some amount of confusion and anger within the progressive media space.
A few days ago, an article in Forbes had this hilarious headline:

What are the "conspiracy theories?" What is the "psyop?" It's that the showrunner is a secret conservative who made a parody of progressive humor to chum the waters of the culture war. It's so awful that it must have been made by a secret conservative to provide ammunition for the culture warriors on Twitter and YouTube! The article author sums it up reasonably well:
Velma is so bad in fact, that it's spawning conspiracy theories that creator Mindy Kaling made what is essentially a parody of what the right wing thinks left wing comedy is like. As in, a show that not just recast most roles with new races, but also features loads and loads of "white guys, amiright?" jokes. The idea is that Kaling is a secretly conservative force in media trying to make the left look bad by making a cringey adult cartoon full of "this rich white guy has a small dong" jokes that the right can point at as everything wrong with race-recasted, social justice-influenced media.
And this guy is sympathetic to the cause of woke reboots! It's so bad that the author takes a page from "conservative" media and tries for a "both sides" argument: On one side, it absolutely is working to spark mockery from the right, exactly as you might imagine it would. But on the other, it's just not defensible at all by those who would normally welcome a progressive series. But what's the cause of the "conspiracy theory" and "psyop" stuff? It isn't just that the show apparently sucks, it's that the show sucks and was made by the greatest kind of thought criminal roaming the planet today: the "transphobe." Creator Mindy Kaling is a transphobic TERF, at least according to Twitter activists. It's because Kaling isn't woke enough when it comes to transpersyns (and that, of course, means she's a "conservative" ...) that she made a show to hurt the woke cause by pretending - but only poorly - to be progressive!

Socrates says so in Plato's Republic. Again, this is the reason primarily why, not global warming, they want us to turn away from meat.

My father-in-law, mother-in-law and her new husband all got the MRNa COVID shots and one or more boosters. All are in mid to late 70s, are fat, but otherwise had no other medical conditions.
My father-in-law regrets taking the covid shot, and now experiences severe pain in his arms. He has said he wished he listened to me and didn't take it, and the only reason he did was to "make this nonsense go away." I told him at that point, not to take the flu shot after he said he was going to, but relax, he assured me. He took the traditional shot made from dead virus. He's fine.
My mother-in-law went into cardiac arrest after the covid shot. Spent two weeks in the hospital and now has heart damage. Still, she was determined to take the flu shot despite my wife's advice. She took the new "recombinant" flu shot (or one of the new versions, I'm not sure which) and the result was that she got a heart arrhythmia, and when combined with a bottle of wine, she fell and hit her head and now the prognosis is that she's heading to a rest home if not a funeral home.
My mother-in-law's new husband also took the covid shot and boosters. Can't move his arm where he got the shot. Otherwise he's fine. He says, "it's going to take more than some shot to kill me." Still, he took the flu shot, but he also took one of the new versions. Has since developed a nasty cough that won't go away, weeks now he's been hacking.
My conclusion, is that the covid shot with the new types of flu shots, leads to adverse outcomes for those who take them. Not sure why, other than the weakened immune system from the MRNa shots and the new flu shots that are supposed to trigger an antigen response don't par well together. Anybody have a better take?

If it is the same across all services as it was in the Army, only 3% are willing to try to dodge the clot shot. This 3% wouldn't be enough to help in a balkanization scenario. You'd need whole National Guard units to pledge allegiance to your new cause; 3%, even if it was the leaders (it wasn't, they pushed this nonsense) won't be enough to coalesce into a new fighting force.

....must be controlled opposition. It's impossible for someone to be right on 99% of things but then, say, think JFK was killed by the Mafia when, everybody who's anybody, knows it was the CIA.
Also, anyone who didn't get everything spot on correct with their analysis must be as well. This of course, means that even someone who fell for the COVID scam, then came to their senses (even doing so really early in the scam) is controlled opposition.
Also, anybody who gets a lot of social media follows is clearly a sell out quisling. They should be relatively voiceless, like me, else they must be on the take like a dirty cop.

Supposedly there is this documentary on Netflix that shows some good evidence that an advanced Atlantis type civilization was destroyed in about 13,000 BC by a comet or something like that. This would push back human civilization from the hunter/gatherer stage back quite a bit, since most anthropologists say civilization as we know it started about 4,000 BC (even though sites in Turkey already show that is wrong).
This documentary has all the experts class people riled up about his apparently popular Netflix show. On Twitter, I see Bible believers of one stripe or another saying it's evidence for a flood type event from Genesis, which exists is most cultures' mythology. This may or may not be the case. Atlantis is a popular idea too, and the Atlanteans may have spread civilization out to the hunter/gatherers after the loss of their homeland in the flood.
