Among U.S. adults, 52% say they will "probably" or "definitely" not get the new COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest KFF (Kaiser Family Foundation) COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor poll. Conversely, 23% of adults "definitely" plan to get the vaccine -- while another 23% will "probably" get it.
Among the people who said they "definitely" or "probably" will get the new shot, most are Democrats and/or at least 65 years old, the poll found.
Seventy percent of Democrats plan to get the new vaccine.
That's compared to just 24% of Republicans.
The survey, which was conducted between Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, polled 1,296 U.S. adults via online and telephone polls.
Based in San Francisco, KFF is a self-described "independent source for health policy research, polling and journalism."
"The poll shows that most of the nation still trusts the CDC and the FDA on vaccines -- but there is a partisan gap, and most Republicans don't trust the nation's regulatory and scientific agencies responsible for vaccine approval and guidance," KFF's president and CEO, Drew Altman, said in a press release. Less than 50% of the country is now "most of the nation"? 46% of the public (23% will "definitely" get the new vaccine, 23% will "probably" get it) now counts as a majority?

There is also a partisan divide in terms of COVID precautions, the poll found. Among Democrats, 58% are likely to take extra precautions -- including wearing masks, forgoing travel and avoiding public gatherings -- amid rising COVID cases.

These invaluable samples from the asteroid Bennu were meticulously collected by OSIRIS-REx spacecraft, which executed a precise maneuver by flying near Earth in the early hours of Sunday morning. The spacecraft then released the capsule, which descended to a landing zone located in the Utah desert. It was reported that the capsule landed at 8:52 a.m. MT, three minutes ahead of the scheduled landing time.
OSIRIS-REx embarked on a journey from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida back in September 2016, and boarded a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket. This started the two-year odyssey with a destination set for the 1,720-foot wide asteroid known as 101955 Bennu. When the team touched down in Bennu’s vicinity in August 2018, the spacecraft dedicated another two years to closely study the asteroid’s surface.

I believe Microsoft is working with spammers. I have a public facing Outlook email for a specific reason. Naturally, I get a lot of junk mail in that account. Whenever I create a "rule" to filter out junk, within a very short period of time, sometimes less than an hour, spam appears set to go around that filter.
For example, I get some spam looking to get me to sign up for Obamacare plans. I create a new rule that says all emails with the text "Obamacare" in the subject go to the junk folder.
Later that day, I will get an email with the subject "O.b.a.m.a.c.a.r.e." However, that often doesn't happen when I don't create the filter.
Many such examples.
Of course, the email comes from [email protected] so blocking the sender does no good.
