For everything to be above board and normal, yes it would mean that that area is a completely uniform snow covered region. But it also happens to be the area with those visible ‘mosaic cuts’, while the rest of the phot has none of those. It seems suspicious to me.

Usually I post at GA. While there are some awesome people there, now I realized they're 99% just people who dig the idea of someone taking down the Cabal for them and giving them liberty. The 99% are not interested in active, independent thought. Let's see if you guys like this post and its flat earth implications.

The black area doesn't have the same level of variation / detail as the rest. That's why it shows black.

The straight lines you can see in the pure white area are due to this being a "mosaic", because Antarctica is "too big" to photograph all at once. However, the mosaic lines only exist in the pure white area. The rest is not too big to photograph all at once.
