Pretty much the only reason I didn't take the vaccine was the capabilities (for lack of a better term) of the vaccine being switched. Before the vaccine came out, everything I saw about it said that it wouldn't reduce transmission, only reduce the severity of the symptoms. But then a few weeks before the vaccines were given out to the public, it suddenly became 95 or so % effective at preventing transmission. Of course, as time went on, transmission did not decrease at all, and the effectiveness the health officials gave out kept dropping.
