You compare data. You look at the differences. You form hypotheses and find a way to test them. If you have an entire globe doing things differently you can test your hypotheses by looking at all available data.

What idiots think is "trusting the science" is a logical fallacy known as "appeal to authority" which EVERYONE needs to be familiar with.... I see some similar mentality here

We already have ways to track how much you drive. Hell, if you wanna tax people on mileage just add another tax to gas prices. You don't have to track every movement.

Mindless scrolling, only reading headlines, results in those headlines being cemented as reality.

You couple that with the fact that people can't accept when they're wrong or being stupid, and that's what you get.
