Background: 250,000 people in Ontario disabled and chronically ill from chemicals, mainly VOCs (airborne fragrances) but also food additives and others. Three reports, mainly developed and funded by the government, over 30 years, recommended basic recognition, case definitions, and funding for research. Government of Ontario refuses to acknowledge the existence of the illness or these people.

Conspiracy: The government funded these reports, and then refused to act on them. One strong possibility is that big chem/ big pharma lobbied the government. It could be a big hit to big chem in the short and long run to have people know that their products are hurting people. Especially since there are no "pills" to take and avoidance of VOCs is the current reccomendation.

Bigger picture: Overlap between products with VOCs and products that cause cancer, obesity and general poor health (brain fog / inability to think clearly is a mild MCS symptom). Chemical companies looking to sell more fragrances for changing moods. Overlap between MCS sufferers and people with electromagnetic sensitivity and 5g concerns.
