and this will be the end of us. we will create a society controlled just like a fucking hive mind. there will be no free will, no free thought. we will loose everything we've acquired as a species. writing, art, creativity, free thought, the spoken word will ALL be lost forever.

at first glace the story is passable, they needed a quick solution to get ride of corpses so they tossed em in the old mines and just kinda forgot about it as time passed.

but when you look at the numbers its starts to get fucking weird.

theres something like 6 million skeletons down there. the total population of Paris at this time was half a million (500 000)

the population of all of France was 20-30 million.

this makes no sense. there was 12x as many dead bodies moved during this time then the entire population of the city.

how did they do this, this would have required untold levels of man power just to do this. if they moved 1000 bodies a day this would take 16 years to simply move them. (according to them it was mostly done in 2 years)

now take into account that these bodies weren't just thrown down there. they had all there bones separated and placed in a specific manner. they built weird fucking structures completely out of bone, covered the walls in skulls and vertebras, dare I say in a weird ritualistic manner.

anyway the thing that has recently caught my curiosity happened 14 500 years ago and snapped us out of the glacial cycles that effected our planet for 100 000s years. Rogan had a guest named graham hancock on awhile ago and he talked about this also.

according to ice core data "something" happened about 14 500 years ago, caused the global temperature to spike up nearly 15 degrees in a very short period of time melting the glaciers over Canada and Europe. The following 1500-2000 years after this quick spike is what they call the Bølling-Allerød.

During this 2000ish year long period the cold fresh water trapped in the glaciers poured into the ocean and caused sea levels to rise 120-140 meters (we know this by comparing ice core date to the Meltwater pulse 1A data. same time same event)

But all this cold water surging into the ocean caused the ocean its self to temporarily cool and bring about one last mini ice age about 13 000 years ago (the younger dryas)

just like when you drop ice cubes in a glass they cool your drink as they melt and dilute, but eventually they disappear and your drink goes back to room temp.

the same thing happened to earth. Since the large glaciers over CA and EU were essentially destroyed, melted into the sea, the glaciers never grew back. The sea never went back down, the oceans were temporarily cooled but the glacier cycle was broken and after a couple thousand years the earth warmed and the temp became relatively stable. Been like this for the last 10 000 years. Unheard of in 800 000 years of temp data.

soo.. the elephant in the room, yes this kinda indicates that there was a world wide flood from 14 500 - 10 000 years ago. Over 4000ish years the sea levels continuously rose increasing 120-140 meters total world wide which wouldn't have flooded the world persay, but it would have destroyed alot of islands and massive sections of all the global coasts. this is where people have the densest populations. This would have displaced ancient humans and caused chaos over the world wide eco system

This sudden event 14 500 years ago may have lead to the extinction of the mega fauna, possibly even Neanderthal and Denisovan. not to mention the "flood myth" seems to built off of this time period

this was a key monumental event in our species history and its not even really acknowledged or explored. They don't even really seem interested discovering what lead to this sudden warming and melting of the glaciers.

This event was different from any other warming event from the last 800 000 years. there were always cooling cycles and warming cycles were the glaciers receded but they never completely disappeared. something huge happened to them but i cant seem to fathom what.

first i though a massive volcano or asteroid in the northern hemisphere effected them but that would leave evidence and theres none that happened 14 500 years ago, also if big enough they can effect global temps but not in positive increases. they tend to have a cooling effect cus they're explosion shoots ash and dust into the atmosphere.
