At this point if you want to get ahead you need to have actual skills and running a cash register, making lattes and/or fast food doesn't count and those positions should really be reserved for high schoolers for after school PM positions and senior citizens for AM positions while high schoolers legally aren't allowed to work. When I go to a fast food establishment or even to a retail establishment there shouldn't be some lame ass there that's intentionally trying to earn less than a certain amount to try and maintain government benefits or some lame ass that has no life ambitions that is going to do a half ass job, this is the real pandemic/epidemic in the USA and is also causing a large amount of problems we're seeing aside from the corruption of government as a whole. Fast food and retail used to be entry level jobs with the exception of those pursuing a management position and we need to get back to that.
