Look, it’s long, but never boring. It’s worth the listen/watch and has many hidden gems— things I hadn’t heard/learned in 20+ years of research in these fields.
I’m on the segment now about copyright laws in the age of agentic AI, and how their dissolution is happening too fast to regulate, and there is neither a “right” nor “left” position to take on this.
Nick Land is making a great impression on me here, and I like his approach on inevitable accelerationism as we lurch forward in the “superintelligence” of agentic AI:
Paraphrased: “We can argue how to think about or regulate AI, what the future will look like—but we are crashing into a new moon (planet) much faster than we realize, it will happen while we are still arguing, and nothing will ever be the same.”
Basically, ‘enjoy the ride.’
Because whatever it is,
it’s inevitable, regardless.
I do not feel powerless, doomerist, or fearful any longer.
I’ve watched Black Mirror episodes, Terminator 2, The Road, etc., and I know the absolute worst possible outcomes.

However, I feel at peace.
