I didn't give anyone a gun, if you are talking about my strategy with people I'm learning to be more respectful vs forcecful. I'm striving for better conversations going forward.
So you don't know what an analogy is. Or that I was using one.
my strategy
Should NEVER involve blurting out the existence of the HIDE FROM DISSENT button, yeah. Never ever inform anyone that they have a HIDE FROM DISSENT button and I won't bring up the issue.
Free will exists. If I'm told my behavior is harmful I pull back out of respect. And that's what I understood from the conversations in this thread which I'm guessing is what your refer to. I also questioned the potential for reconciliation and I think that is now an option. If this keeps going I will feel responsible to bring in the referred to party.
I'm constantly learning and am striving for better going forward. Thanks, you can let up a bit now I think.
How does this address my point in any way? In what way is giving a suicidal man a gun "learning"? In what way is doing so "striving for better"?
