Watch the video, it's hilarious. In an attempt to fly from Puentes Arenas, Chile to Ushuaia, Argentina he has an "aircraft issue" and proceeds to fly hundreds of miles off course over the ocean to King George island. (In the winter no less / June)

It's pretty obvious that it's a cover story to ensure he completes his goal of landing on every continent. I think the Chilean government is giving him the hassle he deserves.
