Yet Hitler could have won the war using stockpiles of Sarin and VX gas - but he signed the Geneva Convention and refused to commit a war crime. Odd isn't it? 🤔
Poison gas was deemed a war crime after the atrocities of WWI. Churchill wanted to use it but was shot down by the war cabinet. If he had, they would have never been able to storm the beaches in France, Hitler could have sent his Panzer divisions to the East, and Russia would have been stopped in their tracks.
But Hitler, having survived a gas attack himself, refused to use it on the enemies trying to invade Germany and France.
