After my discussions with the wanna-be mods, I found out that, ultimately, these people don't want to help the community, they just like the power to mute and ban whoever they don't like.
While some are outright Nazis, some will call you a "mongoloid", and others are strictly defending only their reputation. Either way, none of these will help with the removal of the obvious trolls, shills, and AI chatbots.
Unfortunately, there are no good candidates to my knowledge... I saw some posts of people, who wanted to be mods, but they were immediately shut down by others, who think they have the power to do that... Isn't that strange?
I wonder how many new accounts would be created to elect a new mod in here, if it even gets to that point, or how many alternative accounts of the same person would vote... Apparently, having alt accounts is not a violation... Isn't that strange?
Whatever the case may be, I regret that I even raised the topic... Probably a mod would be selected one way, or another, and unfortunately for you, it won't be a good and fair person, although he would certainly think that of himself.
How would this forum achieve unity in any way, while trolls and shills successfully block most topics?
And if you can't have unity, what is left? How can a single person in here do anything against the NWO?
-
Some people in here have told me that they don't even read the comments under their posts mostly, because there is no use to debate hardheaded people...
-
Others have told me that they use this forum only as a database for their posts. (Again, they don't care for any replies whatsoever)...
Without discussions, what is the meaning of a forum? Simply sharing content and counting the upvotes, as if you're being heard, while all who upvote already know and agree with this information?
I have a dream... (hehe)
-
Of a forum, where people's discussions are respected.
-
Where insults are possibly stopped with 1 warning, then 1 mute.
-
Where non-related nonsense is stopped with 1 warning, then 1 mute.
-
Where sending links is more respected than just a plain text.
-
Where full information is more respected than 2 sentences, or a simple picture.
-
Where alt accounts is a major violation that may lead to a direct ban, because it can obviously be abused a lot.
-
Where every post is a discussion of itself, no need for specific round tables posts - just great work from everyone posting and commenting.
-
Where any dispute, that leads nowhere, is actually pinned at the start of the page, so a final solution to the dispute can be found. Not only that, but such a post would serve to conclude a difficult topic, and potentially be archived for future reoccurrence of this topic, where you can simply paste the link to this dispute, and educate someone on the grand conclusion. (I had this idea because I don't trust myself with banning, so any dispute will be solved in the comments, by the people in the forum.)
-
And if you don't contribute with posts, then there is no need for such people, who only invade other posts but have nothing to say themselves.
-
And a total of 5 posts per person daily, so spamming and flooding are stopped. People can combine a lot of their information in a single post and express their Nazi position, or any position for that matter.
-
For people's activity to be monitored if they receive a warning, or a mute. To have clear guidelines on when a person should receive them, and when a ban can happen. (My idea is for people with 3 mutes for a month, or two, to receive a warning letting them know that a next occurrence in the next 3 months will result in an immediate ban)
Wouldn't you want to see a forum, where people commit 100% in the comments they give, and they don't react disrespectfully, because nobody is calling them "mongoloid", or something of the sort?
Wouldn't you want for a topic to have a conclusion? United bright minds, who debate with reason and facts, so any dispute on any topic can have one final conclusion, not "I believe what I believe, you believe whatever you want"... There is no real unification, if people are not united in belief. (And I don't mean religious belief here)
The enemy is very well united.
The enemy is extremely harsh to anyone, who deviates even an inch from their plan.
The enemy is working on their plan way longer than any of us has even lived.
The enemy has immense resources, vast connections, and no morals to stop any of their deeds from happening.
The enemy has nearly completed their plan, they are literally in the last phase.
Only a fool would underestimate such an enemy. Only a fool would think that single-handedly they can even make a dent to such an enemy. And only a fool would allow the enemy in their own camp.
First section: dooming noted and dismissed. Second: ditto.
Third section: Great vision sharing, I'll discuss disputes separately. Otherwise looks very passable. (a) We might tweak that newcomers might get 2 warnings (a typical rule). (b) The practical reality is that using alts manipulatively is already a major violation but it can hardly be enforced except when admin knows or when the evidence or problem is already serious; so the best practical solution seems to be encouraging everyone to shut up about alts publicly and just report privately to the mods so that determinations can be made, so that those accusing of alts publicly are recognized for the troublemakers they often are. Believe it or not, that works! (c) Lurkers generally comment before they post so a general prohibition is dissuasive; if we take note of who is spamming (overproducing) unhelpful comments without posts or other good interaction, that would meet your previously stated standards better. (d) Mute and ban are the same except for variable length. I don't believe in permabans and stop at 365 days; no reason to tell a person "forever" (tempting worse response by other routes) rather than give them a date certain and an appeal route. Let me emphasize "Have clear guidelines on when a person should receive [warning or mute], and when a ban can happen." While ranges allow flexibility, a graduation of ranges such as 1-3, 3-7, 7-30 days, etc., is effective, with mercy being allowed if there is also intervening attempt to support the community. Nobody wants to risk a month ban on third big fail.
Disputes: I believe I know how to get to your goal, and it takes spiritual unity and not just formal unity. Not all can be said on that in one go, but one must start by identifying the regular subset of the community that wants a goal of coming to conclusions (a goal not currently stated on the sidebar) and that jointly agrees on methods of determining consensus conclusions. I mentioned that Henry Robert was exceedingly insightful about this. (Let me offer this post as an example of a moderator board deciding an agreeable conclusive community position in a contentious community, which has stood well for all sides for 4 years; it is indeed archived for future retrieval, like some of my lone-ranger conclusions are.)
Fourth section: Good pep talk, and might have an effect toward spiritual unity. You leave the enemy both undefined and as having massive power. The issue is that Conspiracists have much greater power on tap and so glorifying the enemy is unnecessary as we rightly estimate it. The Power fighting against our enemy is more united, harsher to violators, maturer in its plans than even the most ancient enemy, beyond immense in resources but with better morality, and also in a phase that ensures this is the enemy's last by destroying huge swaths of it at once. I speak both generically and spiritually. To bring about the unity and dream you seek, especially among anons, requires alignment and spiritual harmony. Incidentally it is beginning now without any moderation at all. Your post and my response are part of doing it. For it to reach the critical mass here that results in the Awakening of Conspiracists that you dream of will take patience, dedication, and indeed God's grace.
Response: I hope that's enough to push the ball further. I think you should first put forward a dream of what enemy we are fighting and what Power unites us. The sidebar, I've said puts forward the power of Fairness (morality) and Transparency (truth), which implies our enemy is evil and falsehood. Even there, contributors disagree about what things are evil and false and so it might be necessary to work from a rough-consensus subgroup that has a stronger core agreement on them. (I will say frankly that most positions that end in ism are likely not to promote morality and truth.) The way to unity requires an awakening shakedown against evil and lies that reinforces the truthtellers and ostracizes the manipulators. The degree to which you, Neo1, alongside others, are able to enunciate this will be part of what makes Conspiracies stand or fall.
