Disagree. Law is about keeping people from harming others or themselves. If applied correctly, that's what it does. It's only when religious people and women get involved that it starts being ambiguous and stupid.

Except wanting to regulate morality has been a Christian thing for centuries. You just never had the technology to really do so until now.

"Regulate morality" is THE weakest argument you could bring, and it probably stems from the way you honestly think.
Law is nothing but legislated morality, why can't your brain fathom such a simple concept?
